Dear riders,
Thanks for entering our event, the weather forecast looks pretty good, so it is shaping up to be a good weekend. Thanks for your patience regarding the draw.
CIC classes: at the end of the cross country, there is going to be a temp and pulse check as per regulations, so you will need a groom, with ice and a bucket and be prepared to cool your horse at the finish and you will not be released until the horses have recovered.
Unfortunately, the woolshed has been booked by another group (and they didn't realise it was double booked until last week) so we are UNABLE to host a party.
Directions:
For those who have not been to Canberra before, I have made a google map, so all you need to do is enter your origin and it will spit out the directions to us. There will be signage to the event on most of the roads leading to the venue.,
People who have booked yards will be getting another email with their yard number.
Prelim riders - your SJ is being held on Saturday and the ring is up around the finish area of the XC course - so it is almost flat - much better than the area beside the woolshed, however if we get alot of rain like we did on Monday (yay) then it will be beside the woolshed as the ground holds up much better in the wet.
If anyone is scratching, please let me know asap.
A reminder to those who are camping and making their own yards, please erect them in the area behind the large cyclone fence (in where the XC course ends). It will be clearly signposted where you can and cannot camp.
